Alminar is a new hotel, opened in March 2005 in one of Seville´s most classical buildings: the one that for more than half a century belonged to Foronda, the leading company in Spain for hand-made bright silk shawls and Flamenco dresses.The building has been restored to be adapted to the particular necessities of a small hotel of only 12 rooms in which attention to detail is a priority in order to offer the guests a cosy space in the very heart of Seville, just 50 metres from the Cathedral and its minaret (or alminar), the Giralda, true symbol of the capital of Andalucía.
The bedrooms are spacious and are fully equipped with complete bathroom, Sat. T.V., Phone, Internet access, Mini-Bar, individual Air-Condition and Heating. Even though the position of the hotel is very central, the street where is located is a quiet one so your peaceful rest is more than guaranteed.

Directions to Hotel Alminar
The address of the hotel is calle Álvarez Quintero, 52: very close to the Cathedral, so you need to follow directions to the city centre (Centro - Ciudad). The most recommendable thing, however, is to get to Alminar by taxi as the hotel is in a pedestrian street of the city centre. There are taxis at the Airport which charge approximately 24 Euro for the trip to the centre. There are also taxis at the main train station of Santa Justa which charge about 5 Euro.
There is also a bus transfer from the Airport to the city centre (2, 50 Euro) which leaves the clients at Puerta de Jerez, just 8 minutes walk from the hotel. The bus also picks up people from the train station.

If you arrive by car, the best option is leaving your car either at the Plaza Nueva Public Parking which is 5 minutes walk from the hotel but generally a busy route or at the Puerta de Jerez - Avenida de Roma Public Parking which is 8 minutes from the hotel, generally easier to get a space.
